The BoatsSmall Boat Charters We run on 24’ Bay Rangers. These top of the line boats have a center console and are powered by 250 Yamaha four-stroke outboard engines. Both have a small bimini top for shade and also have a ladder on the back. These boats can seat six people comfortably with a bench seat in the back that can accommodate four and console and helm seating that can accommodate four. Due to Coast Guard regulation, we can only accommodate six people on board (a baby counts as a person). The boats do not have bathrooms, but we are usually only a few minutes from shore so if you speak up, we can pull over. Big Boat Charters We also have a 40’ Corinthian motor catamaran. This boat is United States Coast Guard certified and can accommodate a group of up to 39 people, and crew consisting of a captain and mate. The vessel is mostly shaded and powered by two 150 Yamaha four-stroke outboard engines. It has two comfortable boarding ladders and three exit gates. The boat has a marine toilet on board. What to Bring For your custom charter, we want you to be comfortable and happy. On all charters we provide all fishing tackle, bait, and gear, drinking water, snorkel gear and wetsuits. These are all included in the cost of the trip. You should definitely bring or wear the following: Hat Sunscreen Sunglasses (even for the kids if you can) Towels (if you plan on getting wet) Long sleeve shirt for sun protection Rain coat (or outer layers depending on the weather) Boat shoes You are free to bring: Anything you would like to eat or drink to put in the cooler (just don’t bring the actual cooler – we already have one) Your own snorkel gear and wetsuit Your favorite fishing rod Departure Points: We operate out of La Siesta Marina at MM 80.5 on the bay side as well as the Cheeca Lodge at MM 81.5 on the ocean side La Siesta Marina is located across the street from the charming coffee shop Midway Café. Drive down the long driveway and find us all the way at the end of the marina on the right. Occasionally, we can pick you up at the resort where you are staying. The Cheeca is located at MM 81.5 on the ocean side across the street from the Trading Post. Cancellation Policy: Kindly let us know at least 48 hours in advance of your charter if you have to make changes. We will bend over backwards to accommodate your schedule changes. Of course, if the weather is bad, we will let you know and cancel the trip with no penalty to you. You will be charged the full rate if we are not notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure. Trip Prices and PaymentFishing Charters: We book fishing charters as four (half day), six, or eight hour charter. A half day charter for 2 people starts at $400 and each extra hour is $75. Add $25.00 for each extra angler on board. Note that there is no tax on a fishing charter. Non-fishing Charters: Non fishing charters start with a two hour minimum for $250. Each additional hour is $75. Consider that this price is for everyone in your party up to six people. In two hours we can provide a two or three sight snorkel trip. Add an hour if you want to snorkel and tour in to the Bay for an eco tour, and add another hour if you want to stop for lunch or bring a picnic or swim. We can entertain all day long on the water so just let us know how long you want to stay out! Big Boat Charters: During season we charge $1000 plus tax and gratuity for a two hour trip. Each extra hour is $350 ++. During the off-season we become quite flexible with this pricing. Payment: We take a MasterCard or Visa for a deposit and will accept cash, MasterCard, or Visa for payment. |
