Brave not Perfect

At She’s at Sea, we believe in raising a generation of brave, not perfect, young women. This vision began during a magical week I spent on a boat with six spirited 8-year-old girls. Dressed in rainbow swimsuits and sparkly goggles, these young mariners were fearless explorers.

They embraced every challenge, from wrestling the wheel to barking out captain’s orders, without the pressure to be perfect. They reminded me that bravery—trying new things, making mistakes, and jumping in feet first—is what truly matters.
